the seat of the sin that corrupts humanity lies within the heart

Sometimes i long for a sign from God telling which way should i go and which should i pass. When i heard people said: listen to your heart; i look for my instincts whenever i am not sure which path should i go through and most of the times i failed to deny that the path i have chosen was not the right path at all.

Did I or did not i listen to my heart?

Sometimes i wonder how heart can make you do the right things. What if the heart does not? I read somewhere that only the hearts that are pure and clean are ought to do so. And one of the ways to clean a heart is by relentlessly reciting the holy Quran. It is also called as the food of the soul. Reciting or listening to the recitations; can do you favors by vacuuming the heart and feeding up the soul, inshaAllah.

P/S; If you are a Christian, in the Old Testament they say, the heart is not merely an organ. It was far more than that. The heart; because of its central location within the body, was considered the seat of all emotions, passions, appetites, intellect and moral faculties. Realistically thinking, the heart cannot be cleaned even if it is vacuumed by the most intelligent vacuum cleaner with a high efficiency or HEPA filter (ok i exaggerated a bit ) but simply by consuming some times for the holy Quran.

so thats why we recite doa(s) for the dead

we were in the car to the graveyard when i asked mom, what are
the 3 important things that will keep us company down there
in our very own grave after our death.
[actually,i learned that somewhere
sometime before but i forgot.that's why i knew there were 3 of it]
so mom said the list of 3 are;

1)our sedekah
2)beneficial knowledge
3)doa recitations from anak soleh

come to think about it,i asked mom so what are the purpose of visiting our late
grandparents and others (the deads),
reciting long surahs, pouring waters, and planting roses
at their graves while none of the 'routine' is in the list.
this is why.
the reason why we are doing these things repeatedly is because
it happens a long time ago, when Rasulullah SAW was
doing the same thing.
He had 2 friends who were making a lot of sins out of their living days
(which im not sure what kind of sins they were doing..)
and when they were dead, Rasulullah SAW went to their graves and
plant some small trees on top of their graves. While planting it He said,
"May this will lessen your burden down there"
(not exactly like this but something like it)
Then our ulama's conclude that the trees' zikir recitations are the reason
that helps lessen the burden in the graves.

From the conclusion we can see that if a plant's zikir [only]will
help lessen the burden,
some recitations from the Quran will mean a LOT to the dead.
And this is why we visit them, plant trees on them,
pour water for the trees for them, and for all that,
we actually help lessen their burden down there.

May we will be treated the same, amin:)

A change i longed for

i need help. i need help. i need help.
i need help to re-construct my life.
i think the life im living now is not what it was suppose to be.
its kinda bad.
no,i mean REAL BAD.
i dont want to end up bad.
and i also dont want to end up early.
like my friend did.
i want to contribute something.
i need to contribute something.
what am i suppose to tell HIM on that day?
what should i do.
oh i better be prepared with a strategy.
at least that's what Aak told me to do.
if you focus on results, you will never change.
if you focus on change, you will get results.
at least that's what a friend told me before.
i just need to focus.
yeah, focus.
insyaAllah.
